Granted, Halle Berry could pretty much wear a bright orange Bozo the clown wig and still be a knockout, but her short crop gets points for being edgy and feminine at the same time. The ‘do works best on those with oval faces. Add mousse or spray gel depending on your texture, flip your head over and blow dry—no brush required.

Love her or hate her, you gotta admit, Victoria Beckham has great hair. She often shows how versatile the angular bob can be, wearing it brushed forward (as shown), in faux hawks or in gentle waves. This look is two styles in one: bed head waves in the back and neat, straight bangs in the front. As you might guess, this means double the styling time.

An example of what not to do, even supermodel Agyness Deyn can’t pull off a mop top that makes her look like she’s wearing a dark hat. She would do better if she layered her hair, added highlights or pulled her hair off her face with a headband.

The Rated-R singer is about as well-known for her ever changing hairstyles as she is for her vocal stylings. Just when you think she can’t go any shorter or funkier, Rihanna changes it all up again.
